The body of Christ lies in the pose of Olympia, and the gesture of scandal changes direction. The crown of thorns coexists with the jewel on the wrist; martyrdom with sensuality.

It is not mockery, it is fusion: a sacred figure enters the space of desire, strips itself of symbolism and allows itself to be seen, finally, as a body.

At this intersection, painting ceases to be liturgy and becomes flesh.
