This is the exact moment when the body ceases to be a body and becomes history.
The arm is still extended, the rifle has not yet fallen, the chest has not yet touched the ground. But everything has been said.

Inspired by the iconic image of the "dead militiaman," this work doesn't seek to reproduce the myth, but rather to humanize it anew . To restore its breath, its movement, the possibility of having been someone before the shot. What we see is not a death, but an act of surrender , a moment suspended between the tragic and the sublime.
